A single pour emptied the entire contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug. Some, but not excessive white foam was produced and it quickly receded into a proper head. The brew is opaque apricot-amber, neither dull, nor bright. Like many modern American IPAs, the aroma isn't necessarily pronounced, but the nose found some vague starchiness and muddled hops. The taste is a little earthy upfront, but not very complex. The hop bite is more resinous than fruity. Although the alcohol doesn't interfere with the taste, this is warming as it goes down. There's almost no taste transition, as it doesn't bitter much more during the finish, it just dries out pleasantly. A bit of the head sustained and there was some noticeable glass lacing. Overall, this is nice, but characterless. It's a pleasant way to put a pint with an ABV of eight and a half percent inside and its body is just good enough that you can do it quickly, if wanted. But the conversation about its taste will never go far.

Can dated 2/12/24. From the label, looks to be a collab brew with Mortalis Brewing. A solid NE DIPA.

Poured into a Trillium glass a very nice cloudy yellow/orange color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, apricots, nectarines, peach, melon, papaya), very nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, apricots, nectarines, peach, melon, papaya), a nice little sweetness, very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. MilkShake! Orange Julius! Addictive!
