Our latest batch of Möbius was conditioned on Brazil Planifolia Vanilla, which is known for its sweet, fruity, deep and intense custard flavor. We are getting flavors of roasted coffee, pure chocolate and dark malts, all balanced by a sweet vanilla cream and malted milkshake finish.

Good Porter. I initially thought the vanilla was overdone, but everything balanced out as I continued drinking it. Poured from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass, this beer featured a dense brown color with no light coming through. The fast-fading head was dark brown and fizzy, settling into a cream-colored cap on the top of the glass. Head retention was poor, but there were lots of thin bands of lacing on the glass. Initial take on aroma and taste was that there was too much vanilla. However, everything settled down for me as the maltiness, coffee and slight touch of chocolate came forward. This was quite a tasty brew!!! Mouthfeel was rich, smooth and slightly sweet. I had it with food, but this could be a good standalone sipping beer as well. Nicely done!!!

16oz can. It poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of vanilla, chocolate and toffee. I enjoyed the taste, which was smooth and creamy with a nice vanilla flavor.

Poured a dark brown into a snifter with no head to speak of, which is no surpries for this style.
The nose is predominantly vanilla with a coffee aroma.
The flavor: sweet vanilla with roasted coffee notes. Sweet dark chocolate comes into play also.
The mouthfeel is creamy and sticky.
Finish: Coffee and vailla linger in equal measure with a slight bitterness. Oh, and the effect feels stronger than the listed 7 percent.
