Collaboration with Evil Twin Brewing NYC
Did you know we have Jeppe to thank for our love of hoppy marshmallow beers? With Even More Holy Dog Day this Saturday in Middletown, we are happy to bring you Straight Outta The Double Marshmallow Laboratory, a double and slightly more forgiving version of the classic triple version with @eviltwinbfewingNYC.
Don’t be worried about the scaled-down abv; Straight Outta The Double Marshmallow Laboratory makes up for it with a nearly double addition of hand-selected Citra and an amped-up amount of gooey marshmallow. Aromas of papaya orange creamsicle on steroids lead to tropical fruit cart meshed with creamy fluff, deep fruit nectar, hints of pure vanilla, and Grandma’s orange cream pie.

Milky yellow colour, strongly cloudy. High, finely bubbled, white foam, has a compact structure and a very long reduction time. It clouds the glass intensely.
Aroma very fresh, hoppy, intensely fruity (tropical, citrus) with notes of yoghurt, vanilla and concentrated fruit juices. On the taste, a perfect balance of sweetness and hoppy bitterness. Only in the finish is the bitterness more pronounced, outweighing the sweetness.
Medium saturation downwards. Texture velvety soft, smooth, slippery. Body full, tall, thick. Aftertaste long vanilla yoghurt, sweet.

Poured into a Tree House glass a very nice cloudy pale yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some very nice thick/creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, pineapple, grapefruit, apricots, nectarines, peach, guava, mango), marshmallow, very nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, pineapple, apricots, nectarines, peach, guava, mango), marshmallow, a pretty nice sweetness, very nice diesel like. Medium Body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. MilkShake! Orange Julius! Addictive!
