Pours an effervescent chestnut/mahogany with 2 fingers of tight mahogany colored head. decent head retention & lacing
S: Cocoa, a little roastyness, some vanilla, just not much here
T: Cocoa, vanilla, roastyness &dryness up front, a little maple candy as well. Dryness, some woody notes, more maple candy sweetness along with a little vanilla as this beer warms up, a little bit of a booze edge. Finishes with a woody edge, more maple candy & a little booze
MF: Medium body, fairly prickly carbonation up front. Carbonation smooths out a little once warm
Not a bad take, just to sweet & not very subtle, seems a bit forced/fake. A rare whiff from these guys
