Our hoppy modern twist on a German pilsner is elegant and an easy drinker. Helix incorporates a hop bill of Hallertau Mittelfrüh and Perle hops in boil and whirlpool for a pronounced hop flavor and bitterness. Translucent yellow in color with a clean and bright expression of bitterness, we get subtle floral nuances and a snappy finish for a dry and crisp drinking experience. Helix features maximum approachability and insane drinkability. Like a helix, pilsner is life.

Pours a light fizzy small head with lower retention, mostly clear golden pale color
Nose brings rich grainy-sweet pilsner malt, straw, dough, cereal, etc, then hops kick in, floral herbal with some fruity lemony citrus,
Taste starts with the hops, citrus and fruity notes, into herbal floral slight spicy notes, some malts underneath which are unfortunately overpowered, light grainy-sweet doughy pilsner malt, but hops all day, fruity cereal, dry finish with higher spicy hop bitterness Czech level
Mouth is med to a bit lighter bod, med carb
Overall mixed, I love the malt character on the nose and hop balance, the taste unfortunately is very dominated by the hops and the nice malt character is almost completely lost, the hops on the finish is good like a Czech pils, but up front it's more like IPL

Good pilsner. On the maltier side as opposed to the hoppy side. Still a nice bitterness and a thin mouthfeel. Very repeatable.
