The successor to Reverse Migration (which I enjoyed), a 500ML bottle with orange wax dripping all the way to the base of the glass. Purty.

Pours like it means sludgy business with a dense coffee head that doesn’t hang around. The nose is lots of coconut & a whiff of Buffalo Trace. I do not object.

Barrel Aged Reverse Migration is thick, sweet, & smooth. Hard to get beyond the beauty of the mouthfeel, which makes me want to swig & swig. Coconut, bourbon shine like prime Naomi Campbell (ever see George Michael’s ‘Freedom’ video??). Chocolate, vanilla follow, but we haven’t heard from the coffee even towards the bottom of the bottle. This should really come in a bigger bottle.

A superb stout that promises, then delivers, as a top-shelf beer. I’d hit this again anytime.
