Heavily [noble!] hopped lager. Looks the part, but head is too small and lacks staying power. Smells great and tastes great too, trending toward pils not American macro lager. But the finish is a bit too astringent, I surmise from the hopping, but not sure. Overall, glad to see these guys making lagers, and it’s a fun one to have as a seasonal in the winter. Not sure why this is a “winter lager” it’s golden and straight up the lane for a summer crusher. Not complaining, but I expected some spices or a dark lager.
