This oatmeal stout was brewed true to style. Floor malted maris otter barley makes up the base of this stout. We then layered in caramel malts, roasted malts, and lots of flaked oats. Expect roasty flavors with a smooth, silky finish.

16oz can served in a stemless rastal. Canned NOV1924, according to the bottom of the can.
Pours black with a big flash of soda-like head that fizzles out quickly leaving a smooth, black mirror surface. Smell is quite roasty-toasty, some dark roast coffee and slightly burnt grain. Dark chocolate.
Taste is similar, but more toward milk stout sweetness than the aroma hinted. Sweet with a background of char instead of the reverse. Burnt chocolate, coffee.
Mouthfeel is light, smooth, a little on the still side. Pretty nice, could use a bit more carbonation and/or thickness.
