Very nice pour. Thick, creamy head that builds and sits.
Deep deep brown beautiful color.
Not much nose.
Smooth taste, however, slightly metallic.
Solid, not extraordinary.

Solid black appearance. Medium light carbonation with a just above average body.
Aroma is wood, smoke, char, roasted malt, dark bakers chocolate, and mocha candy.
Taste very similar to aroma with an almost dry bakers chocolate an earthy dry hop bite that lingers in the finish.
This was an excellent beer, flavorful, complex, would get this again.

1st Review. Local. WFM Redbank.
Grateful for this local brewer, showcasing multi-layers of chocolate, coffee, wood smoke, cedarwood.
a) As expected small head, lasting ring and lace.
s) Chocolate, mocha, some wood smoke.
t) Myriad flavors, opens up layers as it warms.
f) just a bit of hop bitter bite toward the end adds to the other wise smooth silky feel.
o) A new fan.
