Darker gold, hazy brew with a modest white head that laces a bit. The nose is decidedly tropical fruit which is just a fragment of the flavor profile. First sip brings out a peach and tropical fruit taste. With the next several sips, the flavor becomes sharply resinous and grapefruit bitterness dominates. 77 IBUs is up there in the bitter ranks so this is not for the fruity IPA drinker. As the beer warms, tropical and peach flavor returns briefly until resin and grapefruit come back to dominate and this includes a prolonged finish. Beware when you pour, there is significant sediment at the bottom of the can. Overall a solid beer though I wish for better blending and consistency from the top of the glass to the bottom.

a) Sediment laden cloudy golden pour. Simple head and lace.
s) Sports aroma of orange, lemon, melon, onion, blossoms, pine, and floral hops.
t) Follows aroma and it's large tasting. Adds medicine cabinet, wood, and fills in with balanced bitter finish.
f) Creamy clean. Flows nicely.
o) Original.

Pours a hazy light straw color, appropriate foamy head. Nice hoppy aroma: I get dank was, citrus, tropical fruits, and pine. Fla or points to a long hop boil - fairly bitter, dank, earthy, not sweet, tobacco, damp wood. Very different flavor profile than most IPA’s. Not my favorite.

Underrated New England IPA. Hazy, juicy guava/papaya. Fresh/dewy. Stronger hints of alcohol than usual for this ABV. Actually might be detecting some diacetyl on the nose. Citrus and papaya tastes. Feel is soft, smooth...but well carbonated. B+

Single pint copped from Wegmans in Whippany. Pours a hazy, golden hue with minimal frothing. Mellow aroma replete with hints of citrus and grapefruit. Similar overall flavor profile. Recommended.

A: This beer pours hazy and translucent. Orangina color around the edges to a darker orange juice color in the middle. It pours with a white, freshly whipped meringue-like head, that settles down and leaves a thick ring around the edge of the glass, a thin layer of foam across the top, with barely any lacing.
S: The aroma does not pop, but there is a pleasant tropical fruit juice aroma including mango and pineapple sweetness, along with citrus zest, peach ring, white peach. There is a minerality that I sometimes get in the New England IPA. I assume it is the water or the yeast, but I am not certain. There is a cracker-like component to the beer as well.
T: The flavor profile is focused on tropical juice without ever being too sweet. Mango, pineapple and white peach. It finishes with a gentle bitterness and dryness.
M: Definitely hits the New England IPA mouthfeel with a smooth creaminess. There is a low level of carbonation that works nicely. It is dry on the finish.
D: I enjoyed drinking this, and I would spend $14.99 on it over the vast majority of the higher priced New England IPA’s in this format. I can think of only two better priced that I would buy ahead of this one, and that is the Sam Adams New England IPA, and Industrial Arts Wrench. ($11.99 - $12.99) This is better than most of the higher priced stuff being put out by NJ breweries that are available in the store. Lastly, I will compare to the last time I had the beer a few months back. This beer looks more like a New England IPA. It is brighter in color (more like OJ) and hazier. The last version looked more like a traditional IPA (darker in color) while still being opaque. It also has more of a tropical fruit juice element to it. The last time I had this beer was in May 2018, and I rated it a 3.25. I am enjoying this one much better because it drinks more like what I expect from something labelled a New England IPA.

Pours semi-hazy dark orange with a thin white head.
The nose is dank, onion-y hops and citrus.
The taste is a balanced blend of mango, orange, and faint toasty malts.
The mouthfeel is medium+
Overall, a very solid IPA. Low bitterness. Juicy but not super sweet/tropical. Just simple and well-made.

Poured from undated can into Spiegelau IPA glass. It pours a bright, tangerine orange color with almost two fingers of fluffy, bright white head with nice retention and long-lasting soapy lacing. It has a nice aroma of orange, lemon, grapefruit, honeydew melon, onion, and floral hops. It's quite fruity with lots of orange/tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, and subtle but noticeable vanilla. and a flavorful blend of Vic Secret, Citra, Mosaic, Columbus, Amarillo, and Simcoe hops that provides bitterness but without a strong bite. This ale has a rich, almost creamy, mouth feel with pleasant carbonation, and the 7% ABV gives it nice substance. Overall, I'm very impressed. For a single IPA this has big flavor and a terrific mouth feel. This is really a first rate New Jersey IPA. Wet Ticket is a brewery to watch!
