Thanks, Chris!

A clear light yellow with a dense white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is soft and spicy, a blend of candied lemon, herbal notes, mint and some citrus. This is on an extremely clean and crisp base, with light dough notes. The palate opens clean, crisp and lightly oily, lemony, minty, a little herbal. Some earth as well. A touch of sweet hop character along with dough. Clean, snappy finish. Excellent.

Purchased in Eastsound, WA during a visit to Orcas Island. A 21 oz bottle, no date code we could find.
Poured into a chalice glass, you get a medium straw color beer, clean and clear, topped with a frothy head. Aroma is an ale-level dose of floral hops. Taste has some resemblance to dry-hopped IPAs, but not as intense. Malt is present in the background and provides a clean, simple finish. Carbonation is generous. A very enjoyable beer.

Tasting Notes
Golden, aromatic, hoppy, experimental

…Single Hop Lager is an opportunity for us to master our knowledge about the noble hop varietals we use and experiment with U.S. and other new world hop varietals. By using a simple malt bill & lager yeast, we allow the hops to shine through. We are excited to get to know these hops better and for our guests who drink Single Hop Lager to enjoy the beer and learn more about hops too!

This new rendition of Single Hop Lager uses the NW varietal Adeena. Adeena hops show herbal and spicy flavor characteristics, with light floral, lemon and pine notes. It lends a low, smooth bitterness with a clean finish…..

Two finger big bubbled frothy white foam cap, good retention. Clear golden liquid with active carbonation streams.

Aroma is floral, lavender, herbal

Taste is floral , herbal , lavender, lemon citrus , hint of pepper spiciness , bit of grassiness

Mouthfeel is clean and crisp

Adeena hops are interesting , floral and herbal . Not a pairing I usually like but in this case well used

Good beer !

Poured at fridge temp. Pours a nice transparent yellow with white head. bubbles throughout. The nose is subtle, but fantastic. Lemon peel, wheat, grass, and a slight hint of pine needles. The taste is outstanding. Super smooth. A nice mix of sweet and bitter. Candy mixed with pine. Citrus is there (orange and lemon), along with grass, wheat, and sourdough bread. Mouthfeel is light and crisp. A very well-executed lager.

Pours a crystal clear golden color with a big, pillowy white head. Really outstanding head retention. Lovely looking beer.

Aroma has notes of straw, dried grass, some cracker malt with a hint of orange zest.

Taste follows the nose with notes of white bread, dried straw, light cracker malt with a hop character on the back end that brings with it some spicy notes, dried grass, and just a fleeting glimpse of that orange zest.

Feel is light, crisp, and refreshing. Bright carbonation. Semi-dry on the finish.

An absolutely delicious lager. This is my first experience with Adeena hops and they work so well in a lager like this.

12oz can served in a stemless angular wineglass. No date on it, but I bought it at the brewery two weeks ago.

Pours clear dark yellow with a small head that collapses to a smooth skin, rising up the side of the glass unevenly to peaks of about a centimeter. Smell is a little bit of barley tea, a pretty substantial amount of citrus zest, some grassiness, kind of mild.

Taste is rich grain, strong yeast/bready notes, mild citrus zest and a strong earthy bitterness followed by a slight grassiness.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied but still dry. Overall, this is nice.

A beautiful pouring beer, bright crystal clear gold. The most beautiful bubbles as it pours, they form so quick and in such quantity and just as quickly float to the top and make the beautiful white head that you see in this picture. One or two rings of lacing random dots thereafter.

The nose on this beer is so nice, it has such a refreshing and snappy smell. Some citrus, grassy, pepper, water crackers, and glorious warm spring days to come

No surprises in the taste here, I would say the grassiness of the hops does show itself very nicely though.

Another flawless mouthfeel from this brewery. Just perfectly light body, incredibly bright and snappy finish, like smelling salts for the palette. There is a really nice spicey hop driven bitter finish. Like they describe their kolsch this one is just a little too quaffable, you could chug this like a glass of water.
