Brewed with European Pilsen, Belgian Candi Sugar, and American Rye and Hopped with Citra, Loral and Green Bullet. Instantly greeting you with complex esters from the Saison yeast, Valjean features notes of Lemongrass that combine with hints of ginger and orange peel to create a light and refreshing beer that finishes with the perfect amount of smooth dryness.

Bottle to snifter.
LOOK: slightly cloudy dark yellow, wispy off white head, good retention.
AROMA: fruity esters, perfume, flowers, ginger
TASTE: yeast, sourdough, apricot, lychee, pear, earthy finish.
FEEL: medium body, carbonation a little weak compared to expectation, smooth. slightly acidic.
Very enjoyable. haven't had a saison/farmhouse in a while. watching a few clips from Les Miserables on Netflix as I finish this off (at the end of the day).
