Collaboration with Resident Culture Brewing.
Hops: Nelson, Citra. Collaboration with Resident Culture Brewing (Charlotte, NC). For this remote collab, we came up with the recipe together and our brewery used NC malt in the beer, while RC used CO malt in their version.

L - Plays the murk and haze-boi part; dense, orange mass of presence. Good head, decent lacing going down. At 9%, it better!
S - Fantastic aromas of pineapple, citrus, pine, and some forest mango combo that is pretty compelling. Can already tell this is a monster.
T - Gorgeous follow through from the aroma; just dankity dank tropics for days. Delicious balance between bitter and sweet, clean finish.
F - Great palate filler; immense, balanced, no alcohol or hop burn. Wonderful on tap (7.14.20)
O - A giant DIPA that haunts my days after having it. Well done, ORB! Do it again, and CAN IT.

Got this and a host of other good stuff from Nick. A collab between Outer Range and Resident Culture? Count me in. Untappd called this, “Hops: Nelson, Citra. Collaboration with Resident Culture Brewing (Charlotte, NC). For this remote collab, we came up with the recipe together and our brewery used NC malt in the beer, while RC used CO malt in their version.”
Poured a golden hazy color with three fingers of frothy off-white head. Not really any noticeable bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled Nelson, white grape, dank pine, Juicy Fruit, pineapple, grapefruit, sugary Citra, hints of mint and papaya. Much of the same with Nelson leading the way and maybe the addition of apricot. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose, but still outstanding. A tad bit rough around the edges, getting all that 9.0 pct. ABV. Got Nelson, white grape, dank pine, pineapple, grapefruit, sugary Citra, Juicy Fruit, papaya, spoiled fruit, black pepper and hints of mint. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Long, spicy finish. (Feel - 3.75)
Lots of hop burn, but I was a fan of this one. Outstanding. (Overall - 4.00)
