Bought two cans from Beer Drop and I'm glad I did and will drink both. But I did drink So Long next to a Belgian from Brabandere (Super Wit) and the Belgian won on the subtlety scale.
So Long Looks average because the foam recedes too fast. Smells are traditional: citrus, wheat/cracker, spices... But Tastes rely a bit much on hops. This is OK because we are in America; but, there is an art to making wits that don't lean on the hops. So, So Long is not there yet. I suggest its yeast could need to impart more liveliness. Refreshing and tart in the finish. I will have the second with food and report back.
12/6/21. Because of its high hops, I decided to have the second can primarily for refreshment as I have better brews for the table. Since So Long is no longer brewed, it is time to say So Long!

Straw yellow body; very nice carbonation; relatively thin yet lasting head, creamy and sticky with thick rings of foam stepping down the glass.. Cracker aroma; a little grassy, a little herbal. Fine lemon and cracker flavor; light citrus tanginess; herbal; very little if any hop bitterness. Medium body; light and fairly crisp; mild citrus tartness.
A well-made and tasty witbier, relatively light and definitely refreshing.
