16 oz. Can
Canned On: 03.02.26
Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, guava, peach, nectarine), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, guava, peach, nectarine), pretty nice diesel like. Medium Body, ABV is hidden very nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty beer. Orange Julius! MilkShake! Addictive!

Canned 1/22/26. I still contend that a 2x ipa needs to be closer to (or at least) 8% than 7.5% to qualify, that sed, it's a good NE ipa with nice mouthfeel: thickish haze; low hoppiness; a really light, understated citrusy/fruityish-kinda flavor and a clean, barely-there aftertaste.a

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England IPA
Glass: Pure Project 14-oz. snifter elemental (fire) glass
Price: $6.29 (10 pct. of. $6.99)
From: San Diego Wine & Beer Co.
Purchased: April 18, 2022
Consumed: April 21, 2022
Misc.: No canned on date
Stopped at San Diego Wine & Beer Company on the way home from a work function. Picked up six cans (five IPAs and a pastry stout), including two Outer Range hazy IPAs. Wasn’t happy with the no canned on date but was hoping it was fresh. Hops mentioned were Citra Cryo and Mosaic Cryo.
Poured a medium golden hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see plenty of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. World-class uneven foamy lacing. Outstanding retention. (Smell - 4.50)
Smelled dank weed, skunky resin, pine, Citra, Mosaic, grapefruit rind, viney mixed berry, floral and grass. Almost smelled more like a West Coast IPA than a hazy. Just as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted almost as good as the nose. In order got Citra, dank weed, grapefruit peel, pine, resin, citrus zest, Mosaic, floral, grass, mango, viney mixed berry, papaya, tangerine and peach skin. Was getting all of that 7.6 pct. ABV. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Abrupt, dank finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Was back and forth on a few of the categories but overall this was solid. Would have it again for sure although I think this could really pass for a soft West Coast IPA. (Overall - 4.25)
