This can carried from the curb at Beermiscuous Chicago... my go-to for local brewers I've not had (and also the ones I return to.)
Typical Daydream is not visual: it has below average Looks; lacking the style's yeast-driven foam. Smells are slightly above average because the hops billow out. Tastes follow; but this is not what I think of as a saison. Feel lacks the complexity of a multi-grain malt bill. Mediocre.
This is only my second from On Tour, so I want to be fair to this husband/wife team struggling through the U.S. not having an intelligent Covid policy because we have a very much unintelligent President. I will have another from On Tour. But they are far away from being able to brew the saison... particularly the yeast. On Tour may have a future because of good marketing copy on their cans, but they are far away from making money from the Belgian tradition.
