Having this beer on-tap at the brewery. Served in a snifter glass, this beer draws a clear, light golden color with lots of streams of little bubbles fairly rapidly and continuously rising to the beer’s surface. Has a white head that’s about half an inch thick when first drawn and served. Settles to a very thick ring surrounding the inside of the glass along with a nice film layer of surface foam. Aromas of some bready malts, oats and wheat followed by peppercorn spice and sweetness along with a bit of a funk from the Brettanomyces. A very similar flavor profile, with some bready malts with slight caramel sweetness and oats and wheat that are followed by some sweet spice bite from the peppercorns that’s rounded out with a bit of funk. A very nice flavor profile. Has a crisp, smooth, slightly prickly, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish with a somewhat dry aftertaste. A very nice beer here.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
