During its time in bourbon barrels, this imperial stout mingled with peanut butter and locally roasted coffee from Six Shooter Coffee.

Dark brown cola of a beer sporting a solid head of dark foam that fades out right away. Immediate aroma of chocolate and peanut butter accompanying the bourbon here. The coffee is noticeable when I go back to it, although it has a bit to compete with. The malt is obvious as well. Tastewise, yep, it's a pastry stout - sweet and strong. The deep, dark malty quality is a good compliment to the sweeter peanut butter. Specifically, the earthiness/bitterness of the coffee and baking chocolate keeps it from getting too overwhelming. Finishes full and sweet.
Very well done, given how out of hand draughts like this can be. In old age, I don't tend to enjoy these as much as I used to, but this one is worth having again. The nuanced useage of peanut butter makes it.

Pours a slick, inky black body capped with a quickly cascading two fingers of sudsy, light mocha foam; mediocre head retention leaves a nearly blank surface along with a barely perceptible collar and minimal strands of webby lacing clinging tentatively to the walls of the glass.
Aromas of soft, nutty coffee phase through modest malt roast, while oncoming peanut butter is subtle yet builds into the olfactories and wrapped in a steady, bourbon barrel embrace.
Taste offers dark cocoa intertwined with subtle peanut butter with coffee trails and subtle bourbon undertones.
Mouthfeel brings a medium body and minimal carbonation; slick, somewhat weighty textures settle to vague stickiness past the mid-palate, culminating to pseudo-creamy roast prickling the palate on the finish.
An enjoyably steady barrel-aged stout sporting tempered decadence and a Reeses intentionality not quite fully formed.

Dark brown pour, almost black, with ruby highlights. One finger head. Lots of bourbon and maple on the nose. Holy wow. Deep rich coffee flavor, sweet bourbon that is powerful but not overbearing. And a moderate but not overpowering peanut butter flavor, and legit, not artificial tasting. Man, this is rich and delicious. This delivers on every expectation from the description. This deserves hype. Awesome.

Having this beer on tap at the brewery, this beer draws a very dark brown, almost black color that is not interested in letting any light at all whatsoever. Not much of a head, even when first drawn and served, But there is a thin, off-white, foam ring lining the inside of the glass at the beer’s surface. Aromas of roasted, caramel malt sweetness along with some chocolate and coffee notes along with peanut butter and oaks bourbon booziness. A very similar flavor profile, with the aforementioned roasted mulch, chocolate, coffee, and peanut butter that are followed by Oak bourbon booziness.?
