Went to grab a 6-pack and a few cans at Windmill Farms and came home with 29 beers, spending way too much money. Untappd description was “Hoppy Summer Lager brewed in collaboration with There Does Not Exist. Hopped with a blend of Strata and Nectaron.”
Poured a clear straw color with three fingers of rocky-to-frothy white head. Could see a few bubble streams coming up from the bottom and sides of the glass at pretty quick speeds. World-class layered lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Nectaron (just had a beer with it before), peach, nectarine, tangerine, bitter orange rind, orange teeth cleaner, grapefruit, Strata, weed, viney berry and earthy pilsner malt. A little better out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted better than the nose. This was damn good. In order got Nectaron, peach, nectarine, tangerine, bitter orange rind, Strata, grapefruit, weed, grass, viney berry and earthy pilsner malt. (Taste - 4.25)
Light body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Clean, crisp finish. (Feel - 5.00)
Damn. This was lovely. I’ll be getting much more of this. (Overall - 4.50)
