Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium to dark bronze amber with a fine one finger white head with great retention and lacing; looks good. Aroma of caramel and light biscuit malt, citrus and grassy hops; malty. Flavor is rich biscuit and lightly caramel malt, grassy hops with a slight citrus edge. Malty and very smooth, despite being hop forward. Lingering grassy and citrus hop finish. Medium bodied with nice creaminess and mouth feel. A full bodied, malty IPA with more of a British taste to the biscuity malt and hop profile, it tasted at times more like an Imperial English IPA. A nice change from the more ubiquitous NW style IPAs available now. I'm a fan of malty IPAs and this one hits the spot. Hoppy, but well balanced with flavorful malt body. I liked this quite a bit and will be looking for other beers from this brewery to try. Looks and tastes great.

Pours a mostly clear golden with a smallish head. Smell is piney and dank, with a little bit of a syrupy sweetness.
Taste mirrors the aroma pretty closely.
Mouthfeel is thick and sticky.
