Almost two months old when rated. Gold/yellow/orange hues. Minimal head and lacing. Cloudy. Mild smells of citrus-orange, slight lemon and pineapple. Taste is subtle (which is a nicer way of saying it’s almost bland)-there’s a little citrus juiciness with a slight piney tang and hoppy bitterness. Light to medium body, slightly mouth watering finish, easily sippable. Not a big flavorful bold beer, but not bad either.

Pours a hazy, but not milky sunset orange, with two fingers of fairly loose white head that quickly recedes to a collar. Minimal lacing.
Nose: Lots of citrus - grapefruit and orange, with pineapple, melon, nectarine, apricot, coconut sugar, and a faint hint of spruce sap. The aroma is sweet, sappy, tropical and fruity.
Palate: A sticky, honey-like sweetness greets the palate, with an immediate onslaught of hop assault. Candied, peach, melon, orange, Meyer lemon, blue raspberry, and sour green apple hard candy. There is a note in here that is identical to a candy that rhymes with Molly Blancher. There is no doubt that these unconventional exotic flavours are due to the use of Sabro hops. There is a mild bitterness, pithy in nature, that comes in fairly quickly and subsides very quickly. In the finish, the beer dries out a little bit, but not so much that you forget this was a fairly sweet beer. Citrus rinds, the faint impression of apricot, a ghost of that green apple, and then it all quickly fades, leaving only a shadow of grapefruit pith.
Mouthfeel/Body: This beer is not far from being flat. It doesn't ruin the beer, but the lack of effervescence certain works to its detriment. While the body isn't fluffy or creamy, it is incredibly soft - soft in almost a syrupy way. There's thickness and viscosity to the body, and it has a lot of body, considering it's only 7% ABV. Judging by the body alone, i would think this beer was pushing 10%. It feels big and slick. Some more bubbles would be greatly appreciated, but it still isnt entirely flat. Maybe a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10.
Overall: Horus has released some insane IPAs under this Osprey line. While this one isn't perfect, and has a slight flaw in it's texture, the flavour of this continues the trend, and shows that Horus is capable of brewing some truly outside the box beers.

Canned 4/26/19; drank 5/19/19 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque orange/yellow appearance.
A violent pour yielded a big white head; frothy lace.
Fresh soap & spring water notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Soap, wheat & spring water flavors; drinkable, but not memorable or overly enjoyable.
I've had my last.

Super drinkable, great apricot and coconut flavors popping out. Shade darker than straw; head retention is minimal; light carbonation that dies down quickly and allows the flavors to spread. The aftertaste is mango-y, and a great balance of bitter and sweet hop. I’m noticing as it slowly warms up it gets incrementally taster and opens up a bit rather than just lays flat taste wise. Gotta say this is mighty tasty. I’m in Union county NJ; can is dated Apr 26 (today is May 15). Hope to see more Horus among us here!

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on May 14, 2019. New England IPA brewed with Citra, Mosaic and Sabro hops. Juicy and tropical with subtle bitterness. A little light in body.
