Midnight black appearance with a brown edge. Aromas of smoke rye barrel with pronounced dark chocolate, black strap molasses, char, and mild earth. Taste is laced with the amazing rye barrel, the wood and the booze complexity is very impressive. Getting big semi sweet and dark chocolates, almost like a truffle, significant charred earth and tobacco near the finish with a hint of oxidation and vanilla. Feel is sticky and thick, smooth yet rugged, has chew and is decently heavy
