Cellared a year. Dark brown opaque body with a tan collar. Smells of barley, various bourbons and oak supporting big dark fruit especially plum and raisin, molasses, toffee, anise, a touch of slight oxidation. Taste much the same, sweeter and boozy but balances well with earthy backbone, dark fruit is so impressive without losing the barley or barrels. Feel is surprisingly light but not thin at all, very warm and shaped by barrels.
