Here we go again... another out-of-the-blue-in-your-own-backyard experience. And unlike many previous experiences, this ale is great (relatively speaking.)
Since the science now says cans are good, I shouldn't deduct points for having to drink a saison from a can..... particularly since it has this wondrously fluffy head on it that says "drink me." Of course, I Smelled it first and also picked up the malt-yeast-spicing combo commonly associated with saisons... but this one is not exceptional, just good. Tastes are a little better because the hops created an initial attack that encouraged me to take a second sip quickly and without contemplation. However by the time KISS finishes, the hops largely have taken over (at 60 IBU, I'm surprised and pleased that event was not until the ale finished.)
OA: I give a bunch of points for what a pleasant surprise this was. However, I drank it so fast that food was not involved (my test of a great saison.) So, I will have KISS again with food. For now, highly highly recommended.
If you will excuse a personal note... I point out that Bold Dog now passes as my 850th brewer threshold and KISS is my 124th saison which ties AIPAs as the style I have tried the most. (Of course, that is a bit of a rig as I favor saisons.)

Had on tap. Not really much to say on this one. Very basic saison with a weird hop combo. Sharp and more west coast in feel, goes nice on the nose, but in taste feels lost with yeast strain. The feel is watery
