We’ve been honing our soft & squishy IPA game since we opened our doors 3 ½ years ago. Our constant pursuit of pillowy hop perfection leads us down many paths, but some combinations lather better than others. Strata, Cashmere Cryo and our hand selected Mosaic & Citra Cryo. Soothing and refreshing, just like a sponge bath at Burning Man. Relax, Rinse & Repeat.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours hazy yellow orange with a small white head. Smells of citrus and tropical fruit, nice and fresh. Tastes of sweet citrus and tropical fruit with just a hint of grain. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

No canning date

Appearance: Pours a mostly clear (60% clarity) medium to light golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 6. (3.75)

Aroma: Strong aromas of lemon citrus, papaya, pineapple, mango. (4.00)

Flavor: Strong flavors of lemon and orange citrus, juicy pineapple, papaya, sweet mango. Juicy and slightly sweet. (4.00)

Feel: Medium bodied, average, carbonation, juicy and sweet on the finish. (4.00)

Compared to Drekker King Of The Thing 3/2024: Pours clearer. Similar head. More tropical aromas. More lemon, tropical pineapple, papaya, mango. Less orange, white grape, peach, berries. Juicier and sweeter with less zest.

Compared to Hop Butcher Presto Change-O 4/2024: Pours lighter, clearer. Juicier aromas. Less smooth orange, peach, melon, berry, papaya. More grapefruit, zesty pineapple, mango rind. More juicy and tart.

Overall: Don't get as much BlackStack distribution anymore unfortunately. They've been making this IPA for a while. Nice hop combo. It has classic BlackStack flavors with the sweet lemon, tropical pineapple, papaya and mango. I knew this was a BlackStack IPA at the first sip. I think this is one of their great IPAs. No frill, but pure BlackStack flavors. (Rating: 4.04)

L: Perfection. Deep hazy lemon rind.
A short ivory head with good retention, leaving bands and speckles of lace behind.

S: Lemondrop candy, confectionery sugar, orange rind, and spirits.

T: Following the nose, but off-dry and no boozy heat.

F: Juicy and just right. Ah!

O: Thos may be a little off-style, but it is well executed and beats the pants off most lemon-centric IPA’s out there.

16oz can served in a big snifter. Don't see a date on it. I think I got it from Tavour.

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a medium to large head. Smell is fairly mild, mostly tropical juice.

Taste is a blast of super ripe tropical fruit juices. Maybe a bit sweet for my taste, with a strong pith/fruit skin bitterness too, and actually quite noticeable booziness.

Mouthfeel is thick and chewy. Overall, pretty good beer.

Can. White head with lace. Hazy sunset golden orange.

Soft, juicy, tropical. Mango, pineapple, papaya, and orange. Floral hops. Kind of earthy. No bitterness. Smooth feel all around. Drinks too easy.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that gradually died down and left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of honeydew melon are present in the nose along with notes of lime and lychee.
T: The taste follows the smell and has stronger flavors of lime along with additional notes of gooseberry.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA does a very good job at hiding nearly all traces of alcohol from the taste.

This is an amazing beer. One of Blackstack’s best, and that’s saying something. Smooth, beautiful, amazing hop character. Really a gorgeous beer.
