Our buds over at the Chatterbox Pub are celebrating their 100th Anniversary this year. As the oldest bar in Minneapolis, we got together to make a lil congratulatory banger to celebrate. We used triple digit portions of 3 of our favorite hops: New Zealand Nelson Sauvin, Cashmere & New Zealand Nectaron in honor of them hitting triple digits. Here's 3 cheers to another 100 years of serving only the finest of beers.

A - Pours hazy yellow body with orange highlights, white head fades to a wispy cap, with very thin line lacing.
S - A nose full of fruit juice notes, orange and apricot nectar, with a hint of resin hops beneath.
T - Pineapple crashes through the front, with orange citrus and stone fruit coming in as support. As it warms, the middle starts to present with stronger alcohol notes. The finish is softly bitter, primarily pith reminding me of grapefruit, along with a white grape aspects that soften it out a bit.
M - Moderate carbonation and weight, a dry finish, with just a little dryness in the close.
O - Superb DIPA, with great fruit flavors, and a satisfying heft without sacrificing drinkability.

Compared to BlackStack I Thought You'd Never Ask 10/2023: Pours lighter and more pale and dusky, similar head. Stronger aromas. More vinous green grape, blueberries, grapefruit. Less tangerine, tropcial pineapple and papaya. Juicier. Winner: 100 Year Jubilee
Compared to Phase Three DDH Nonbinary Code 10/2023: Pours lighter, milder head. Stronger aromas. More grapefruit, pear, lemon, white grape. Less tropical melon and berry. More green and zesty.
Compared to BlackStack Strictly Business 11/2023: Pours lighter, milder head. Milder aromas. More grapefruit citrus zest, guava, white grape, lychee, and pear. Less juicy orange, pineapple, melon. More green and a bite. Less sweet. Winner: 100 Year Jubilee.
Compared to Toppling Goliath Cage's Castles 11/2023: Pours lighter, milder head. More grapefruit, white grape, pear, lychee. Less tropical orange, pineapple melon. More green. Dryer and cleaner. Winner: 100 Year Jubilee
Overall: This is a collab celebrating Chatterbox Pub, 100-year old bar in Minneapolis. It uses some New Zealand goodness of Nelson and Nectaron. I thought if this one doesn't do it they have lost their way. Sure enough, the flavors are there. It's citrusy, zesty, and vinous with all of the great flavors. Would probably be even better and cleaner at half an ABV lower, but BlackStack can still do it. Very enjoyable New Zealand NEIPA. (4.31)
