Aroma is grainy/earthy malts and mild spicy/herbal hops. The flavor is earthy/grainy malts, mild fruit/citrus and a slightly surprising, very bitter hop finish.

16 oz can into a pokal.
L: Pours a clear caramel gold color with medium-light steady carbo, a thin white head that recedes to edge foam, light wispy full circumference lacing.
S: Caramel malts, a hint of bread dough, distant apple and a general orchard note.
T: A fruit bread malt note, lemon, lemon zest twang, lime zest, a gently sweet caramel note, it is fruity and has a long light yeasty halo. It is fairly bitter in the finish.
F: Crisp & bright, fairly snappy medium-light bodied mouthfeel with a long drying finish.
O: I really love the attitude of this beer. A bounty of flavors focusing in on laser-straight lemon-lime and yeasty bread dough malts. Both are riding high. A balanced and mildly intense tasting craft Lager. It is excellent to outstanding in its style.

Appearance: Pours a completely clear, light golden color with a strong white head that lingers. SRM of 5. (4.00)
Aroma: Aromas of smooth bread, pale malt, light and crackery, some honey underneath. (3.75)
Flavor: Flavors follow with smooth pale malt, bread malt, soft yeast and some hints of golden honey sweetness underneath, but finishes clean. (4.02)
Feel: Medium body, strong carbonation. Yeasty and a smooth finish. (4.25)
Overall: An American lager from BlackStack in collab with Double Elbow. Smooth pale malts and bread. No adjunct flavors here. Authentic and smooth bready and yeasty flavors. Nice yeast and excellent mouthfeel. The American Lager is underrated. This beer does it justice. I knew BlackStack was also good at the lager game, but not this good. Well done.
