Varnished wood brown with a short tan head dying to a creamy ring.
I thought their schwarz had some tang to it, but dang this is on another level. The rye is present to the point that it’s almost got a sassafras and even caraway quality amidst notes of acorn and pumpernickel. A touch of toffee develops over time.
The lighter, fluid body has a soft crispness and finishes semi-dry yet slightly chewy.
This is super unique. I'm not sure I've had an American version that was quite so on style like this is.
