Served as a sample at the Deep Creek Brewery. The color was amber red, with good head. The smell was very malty. The taste was somewhat bland for an ESB......very little hoppy, bitter taste. The mouthfeel was smooth, with good carbonation. Drinkability-wise, I don't think I'd wish to have another.
Although this wasn't a terrible beer, it certainly wasn't a great one either. I don't think I'd have another one of these, especially since they have such better beers.
