A: Pours an opaque yet still clear dark purple in color with moderate to heavy amounts of active fine visible carbonation rising quickly along the edges of the glass and moderate dark ruby red + dark garnet red colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy dark pinkish purple head that reduces to a large patch of thin film covering approximately 85% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of tart cherry + lime citrus over the top of light to moderate aromas of slightly sour wheat malts with a light amount of tart lactic lemon citrus. Hints of tart blackberry.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of slightly sour wheat malts with a light amount of tart lactic lemon citrus and minimal amounts of sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of tart cherries + juicy lime citrus as well as a hint of blackberry. Slightly stronger than moderate amounts of lingering tartness.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of acidic prickliness.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasant amount of tartness + acidic prickliness. Nice flavors of fresh tart cherries + freshly squeezed lime juice. Reminds me of a cherry lime rickey from my childhood.
