Look: It pours golden with some clouding. It has a white head with very good head retention.

Smell: It has some lemon aromas with Belgian funk. There are subtle spices in the background with a touch of vanilla.

Taste: It has lemon flavors with belgian funk and spices. There is a vinous like quality in the background with hints of vanilla.

Feel: It has a medium body with strong carbonation and quite a dry finish.

Overall, a flavorable beer with the traditional dry Belgian finish.

A tall, fluffy white head casually settles to form a half-inch thick blanket. The beer is almost clear, with the color of old gold. Random columns of fine carbonation rapidly fire upwards. When final yeast is added, it glows and rebuilds the head, creamy this time. Patchy lines of lace accumulate on an IIPA glass.

The aroma opens with funky fruit and rotting apples. Floral hops find their way in, adding lots of spice, coriander, thyme, and orange. Light sweet peppers come out with warmth. The yeast addition softens the aromas.

The flavor is brief and tart on entry and very bitter. Lemon pith and coriander yield to watercress. The finish is long and bitter with a strong presence of orange pith. The yeast addition mellows the flavors substantially, making it more pleasant and removing the pith.

The texture is coarse, similar to taffeta, and softens to cotton once the yeast is added. It has a medium body against well-formed carbonation. Alcohol is quite high and overall the beer is dry.

This is a good relaxing beer, which I found to be enjoyable while reading.
