12oz can served in a snulip. Can is dated 11/18/25. Lists ABV at 8.5%, and says it's aged in ruby port barrels.
Dark with a medium to small head, turns into a wispy layer with a thick ring and rather impressive one centimeter curtain that doesn't want to let go of the glass. Smell is chocolate with some kind of fruit added, raspberries was the first thing that came to mind. Coffee and anise are in there, too.
Taste is interesting. Fruit is more distinctly port, coffee is stronger and chocolate is present but...watered down? Anise is there too, but also not strong.
Mouthfeel is medium to heavy without being oppressive, chewy, or sticky. Overall, it's good, and interesting, but not excellent.

12oz can from Total Wine-Uptown. Dark muddy brown pour with a small beige head. Roast malt aroma with hints of chocolate and whiskey barrel. Taste continues in this vein with more chocolate and bigger accents from the barrel. Smooth.
