Strong head production and good retention. Brew is thickly hazy, but not quite opaque, and a nice pale golden color.
Aroma is juicy and peppery, herbal, and very lightly sweet. The more I enjoy this beer's aroma, the more I'm enchanted by it; it's quite aromatic and floral. A slight dankness is hinted as well.
Flavor is drier and spicier than the aroma, especially up front - toward the back end, tropical juice notes and a slight dankness emerge, surrounded on all sides by a green herbal flavor. There's a definite earthiness to the whole package, as well.
Crisp, lively, exceptionally drinkable. Feels right at home in the ABV range. Dry up front, but a long oily finish leaves you simultaneously enjoying this one for a while and begging for the next sip.
Not over the top juicy, but still a total hop bomb. Very pleasant and enjoyable. It lacks a certain creamy smoothness that the best in the style offer, but it's a fantastic beer.

not bad, although a little sweeter than i expected. but that could have been because it was following its sister-release Line Cutter at 10.5%.... an almost lager-y kind of element to this one and sweet. but good!!
