Picked these up when I was in town for the final Tom Petty show ever (September 2017 @ Hollywood Bowl).
Pours a familiar dark golden yellow color with 1/3" white head. Cute dog on the label. Nice aroma, Citra definitely leads the way with its candied tangerine and orange notes, but with more green lushness to it (Eukanot I'm thinking).
Taste is pleasant, hey I get the name! Truly, it is pleasant town, nothing harsh about this. Gentle waves of sweet citrus rocking you in your riverside hammock. More of the green pine like bitterness from 3 of the 4 hops here that aren't Citra Underripe oranges in a pine forest if you will. Pretty pillowy mouthfeel for not being a hazy beer, I dig it. So I think I totally understand this beer. They tempered like, everything here, not too dry, hoppy, bitter, boozy. Everything it does it tries to hit that middle ground without going for broke for anything. Some good restraint here, I liked it.

Poured from 16oz can.
Golden to straw in color and very clear. Frothy white head rises an inch and a half high then recedes to a consistent, smooth layer of tightly packed bubbles. Aroma is blend of gentle citrus notes that are quickly overtaken by earthy pine resin. There's also a subtle yeast sediment hint I pick up.
Taste begins with a pillowy orange blossom note, then goes toward a mix of pine and maybe sage. But I'm talking Great Basin sage, like white sage. Overall, these flavors give it a general "earthiness."
Mouthfeel is spot on for an IPA and carbonation plays a consistent part.
Overall, when I read the hop profile I got a little more excited with Centennial and El Dorado in the mix. However, I found this one to be a tad muted. A decent, refreshing IPA but not overwhelming.
