Kersh might be the only west coast india pale ale I've had from Offshoot. Pours a golden light honey color with a thin white head 1/4". Big aroma of Amarillo and Mosaic on this one, they went for the nasal jugular so to speak on this one. It gave off an earthy ocean vibe, humid, but cooled by Centennial?
Taste hit the nice pine and citrus bitterness from the hop regimen. Bone dry pale toasted malt bed. Aggressive. What impressed me the most about this beer was the way it got Mosaic to play well with a lot of other hop varieties, my limited exposure has them doing better the less competition it has, but this one was not muddled. Instead, it was layered with the tropical, citrus and forest like hop flavors.
