Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Opaque but certainly nut murky, cloudy or even hazy looking. A quite nice and simple tangerine dark orange body color right out of the can. Fine tiny fleck of slow rising carbonation can be seen as well. Head creation is a solid basic off white color, and three finger tall head. Some retention but a little soapy and just a little bit of lacing.
Big hop aroma. Stong notes of a bit mix of all sorts of hop qualities, but also some odd traits. Sweet and pungent, but slightly medicinal. Airy and perfume like but with large amounts of earthy and dank qualities also. Surprisingly not very tropical or citrus sensing which is quite a surprise. Thick and large.
Palate has quite a bit of aftertaste and some very unique flavors. Pungent thick citrus and dank orange flavors on first sip. Touches herbal mint and almost with a very thick toothpaste body, coming off just a touch syrupy but not in a sweet way. Thick earthy aftertaste, my molars are ringing off this, with a juicy dank punch that's really powerful.
It's a very unexpected punch, this one could certainly be pretty polarizing for some. Hate to mention that this needs to be dialed down a bit to be considerably better.

This is god awful. I hate to say it but it is true. It's straight alcohol and breath mint, from start to finish, smell to taste. The alcohol is chloraseptic level bad. The first time I've ever been truly disgusted by Offshoot. Sorry.

Love the smell off this.
Again, like the last review on the counterpart of their release...must say enjoying their artwork.
Now I'm tracking which hops in which beers I like to help guide me on beer choice later.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
