From a growler, pours a medium-hazy bright orange. A finger or more of white foam. Smell is initially a big hit of mandarin orange, followed by more general citrus and tropical, plus some spicy herbs. Taste is similar, but lets in a kind of Saison funk that tastes okay but doesn't feel like it belongs in an IPA. Smooth light feel. Good beer, but a little odd.

Pours the color and cloudiness of an unfiltered apple juice, but with a half-finger of head perched on top. Lemongrass, straw, pineapple, and floral hop character on the nose. Similar on the palate--not delivering quite what was promised on the label text, but if I ignore the can, it's pretty enjoyable, aside from a bit of an astringent, chalky finish. On the plus side, that has encouraged me to keep going back for another sip, making it disappear from my glass with alacrity.

From a D.C. can, pours slightly hazy and golden
Big citrus, some tropical fruits, and resin upfront, then some malty, honey sweetness comes in, followed by a kind of herbal, slight stone fruit, almost farmhouse sour type flavor, there's a very slight pine bitterness in the background and a lingering resin and pine in the finish, can almost taste the booze, overall seems fairly sweet to me, and the herbal farmhouse type flavor makes me almost think it's starting to turn or has an infection, I like it but definitely not a slam dunk of an IPA, would try again, particularly on tap to compare

Pours an unfiltered, opaque orange gold. Very little head
Smells of passion fruit, guava, and pineapple
Taste also has some citrus, with a floral/herbal finish...slightly earthy
Low carbonation, not sweet, slightly bitter
