On the list for Bruery Terreux's Wild & Hoppy Beer Festival held March 3, 2018. Pours dark yellow light amber color, decent clarity with a 1/4" white head. Holy moly does this pack the aromatic hops in. Nelson, Citra and Mosaic push a massive amount of hoppy fruit nose. You know you got some heavy hitters when Citra is the aromatic weakling of the bunch. So much tropical dankness from this one. Yowza.
Taste is delicious too, best of the festival. Simcoe is the bittering hop workhorse here, having to carry all those pungent juicy hops to bodyland. It works. Its delicious. Mouthfeel well carbonated, appropriately light and dry malt body. Bittering is in the 50ibu range, spot on. This beer bangs. Why hasn't this been canned? Kind of frustrating that the best Offshoot beer I've ever had hasn't been packaged according to my handling.
This is just a delicious beer that does everything right, except for exist at this point in time. Crank up production somebody!
