Poured from the crowler into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Opaque and slightly muddied orange body color, with a creamy rich head. Very fine bubbles in a three finger tall off white colored head, sitting like shaving cream with fine pill lacing.
Nice aroma. Large amounts of tropical to tangerine like orange qualities, with a real nice sweetness. Hints a little taffy and candy like but with out a big sugary smell. Hints a touch baby aspirin as well.
Thick and rich tasting brew. Velvety and chewy rich with quite a big fruity palate. Large amounts of orange, peach, and tropical flavors. Gets into some crazed Hawaiian fruit punch qualities almost as well. Finishes big coating, but with a surprising light quality.. How'd they do that? Some of that light touching sweet aspirin quality kicks in a bit, a little tang of almost powdered sugar, but then a big wheaty chew and flavor finishes.
Great tasting brew, doesn't even come off feeling like it's high ABV either.
