This one was part of the parting gifts bestowed upon me by @2beerdogs when I was in SoCal some time back.
I wouldn't describe it as hazy, but it sure as hell ain't clear. Orange/apricot coloured body with a nice fluffy finger+ of white head. Decent retention and beautiful sticky lacing.
Primarily citrus... orange/tangerine with again elements of apricot and almost a taffy/starburst sweet.
Same ideas at play here: tangerine citrus with some light fruit and a bit of that starburst sweetness before a dull bitter finish.
Carbonation pops and snaps stinging the tongue but otherwise decent sized body and fairly smoothe. Bitter finish lingers and the alcohol is not apparent.
I'm enjoying this one more than I expected and much more than the other ones I had from this branch of the Rue family tree. Glad to have gotten to try it. Thanks Derek!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
