Hazy IPA
Overdraft Protection pours a brilliant yellow-orange with a rich creamy haze. Amarillo, Centennial, and Mosaic contribute bright tropical citrus flavors and aromas including blueberry, orange, and grapefruit. The addition of Nelson adds another layer with hints of white wine and fresh grass, leaving you with a uniquely complex medley for the senses. The mouthfeel is rich and creamy with a round and balanced finish.
Hops: Amarillo, Nelson, Centennial, Mosaic
Malts: 2 Row, Oats
Yeast: London III

Appearance: Cloudy straw-yellow color with a medium-sized white head that gradually faded. Not as opaque as some NE IPAs but not bad.
Smell: Piney hop aromas with a bit of pineapple and some tropical fruit aromas.
Taste: The pine aromas carry over from the nose along with some fruity notes. With this beer I can't really pin down what the fruits are in the taste profile except a touch of grapefruit that I pick up. The finish is fairly dry ending with the pine notes.
Mouth-feel: Light to medium bodied with a medium level of carbonation.
Overall: Not a bad IPA but I prefer more of a fruit bomb for an IPA.
