Some of our favorite hops converge in this smorgasboard of tastiness. Amarillo, Citra, Galaxy, and Mosaic combine for citrusy awesomeness. Gimme some mo!

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewing Co pint glass

A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a thin layer and leaves some light lacing.

S: Lively mix of tropical fruit and citrus, a touch of pine, crackery malt, and caramel sweetness.

T: Opens with bright citrus, lemon, lime, and tangerine, tropical fruit works its way forward, passion fruit, peach, apricot, and pineapple, a little pine, faintly grassy, graham crackery malt, and light caramel sweetness.

M: Just a touch on the lighter side of medium body, moderately lively carbonation, somewhat soft on the palate.

O: Perfect hammock beer for a warm summer evening.

i have been saying how awesome revision is, because unlike so many others who lean towards the hazy stuff, their beers in this style all are unique from one another, not all the same stuff with a slightly different hop profile, but truly distinctive beers. this one is a little more like what everyone else is doing, a familiar combination of hops led by citra and mosaic, but it does stand out from others in the revision portfolio though somehow too, super fresh can, absolute dynamite! a little more pale and whitewashed looking than some of their others, heavy pineapple, coconut, and even vanilla in the nose, the citra and the galaxy and the mosaic are all appreciable in the smell, and there is a radiant freshness and pungency to this that makes my mouth water. the flavor has a lot of fleshy coconut to it, i hear others talk about this essence from hops, but i rarely get it, yet here i do, and oddly enough from a hop combination i have experienced many times before. not sure how they coax this feature out of them, but they do, and it gives a lightness to this, a summery breezy complexion, especially with the familiar pineapple notes of the mosaic, lovely! good carbonation to a beer that might feel a little too full without it, just off dry at the end, and juicy long past the swallow. a wonderful dry hop profile to this, better than what just about everyone else is doing with the same ingredients. these guys are on fire with the hazy ones right now, and i am drinking all i can of them!

Grabbed a 4-pack of this and two others on my penultimate day in Reno for a work trip. Gave a taster of it two days prior a 4.25, writing that I liked Lord Lupulin more, but that it was excellent. Can called for, “Some of our favorite hops converge in this smorgasboard of tastiness. Amarillo, Citra, Galaxy and Mosaic combine for citrusy awesomeness. Gimme some mo!” That’s three hops I really like and Galaxy.

Poured a medium yellow hazy color with two fingers of off-white frothy head. Couldn’t see any bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Very good spotty lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.00)

Smelled Amarillo, Citra and Galaxy mostly with a little bit of Mosaic. Also orange, tangerine, grapefruit rind, pineapple, papaya and guava. More Amarillo and Galaxy than anything else from the can. (Smell - 4.25)

Tasted just as good. I like my haze when you can taste the hops and you could here. Got Galaxy, Amarillo and Citra, with just a little bit of Mosaic. Also orange, tangerine, grapefruit rind, papaya, pineapple, guava, mango, peppery spice, lime zest and light pine. (Taste - 4.25)

Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Dry, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.25)

This was just as good as I hoped. Just another excellent Revision hazy IPA. (Overall - 4.25)

Pale apricot color, citrus smell and taste on the lighter side of the NE IPA spectrum. Gets a bit of bite and bitterness from the carbonation that reminds me of a mimosa with a bit more champagne. Similarly, Carbonation affects the mouth feel- a bit of a bite rather than a silky smooth finish. Overall, a nice NE that I would enjoy again.

Pours a golden straw that is completely opaque. Atop is a finger of white foam that retains fairly well. Aroma is a big wallop of mango, orange, tangerine, and other tropical fruit blends. It has a big hit of sweet hops that dominate the aroma, foreshadowing a potentially huge flavor profile. Flavor profile is a dense display of orange, tangerine, papaya, mango, lime, and passionfruit. Despite the long list of tropical fruit descriptors, the flavor profile remains more balanced (i.e. less sweet) than the aroma would let off. A hint of plum and biscuit malt in the back help tone down the sweetness a touch. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a velvety, semi-grainy texture giving this beer a large presence. Overall, a huge flavor bomb, but one that doesn't come off as artificial or harsh.

Served in a 12oz snifter from a 16oz can.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Brewmasters - Wilson, poured into a snifter glass. had a dark orange color and a cloudy consistency. There was a small amount of foamy head that quickly dissipated. Not much lacing.

S: A very good aroma of hops, citrus fruit, malt, and tropical fruit.

T: Tasted of a mild amount of sweet malt (not overly powerful), a good shot of hops, a little caramel, some citrus fruit (tangerine, grapefruit), and tropical fruit (mango, passion fruit). A fruity and juicy flavor. A well-hopped NE IPA flavor, with a lot of fruity elements. Well-balanced. Not as juicy as some NE IPAs, but still tasty.

F: A good amount of carbonation with a super smooth finish. Medium-bodied.

O: An extremely solidly made IPA. Very much drinkable.

A: Pours a murky medium golden apricot in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate pale golden yellow + burnt orange + honey colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to large patch of very thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy tropical/passionfruit, citrus/grapefruit. citrus/tangerine, tropical/mango, tropical/guava, tropical/pineapple, and tropical/papaya hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + caramel + wheat + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness.

T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + caramel + wheat + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by just shy of strong flavors of juicy tropical/passionfruit, citrus/grapefruit. citrus/tangerine, tropical/mango, tropical/guava, tropical/pineapple, and tropical/papaya hops which impart a hint of bitterness and fade away quickly leaving a lingering tropical + citrus + pithy hops flavor.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderately fluffy with a light amount of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol, a pleasantly soft/fluffy mouthfeel, and a really enjoyable citrus + tropical hop profile, very enjoyable and I would gladly have another of these.
