L - 3-finger dense bright white head atop a milky, near opaque orange juice body.

S - tons of grapefruit, orange, herb, melon, a hint of floral.

T - semisweet grapefruit candy mixed with more bitter grapefruit flesh and rind. Dankness creeps in mid-palate, but doesn’t overwhelm. Melon, pineapple, a little musty something in the finish. Low bitterness. Moderate-low sweetness. No booziness.

F - medium-light body with average carb.

O - a little thin, but this smells and tastes wonderful.

Draft at Taphouse. Hazy pour with huge fluffy head, nice lacing. Aroma is tart citrus, with some mild dank, funky notes. Taste is equally parts fruity and dank. Split right down the middle, it could go either way. Seems as if the sides are fighting each other.

The pineapple and citrus aroma jumps right at the receptors. Quite a powerful scent. Then, instead of the usual all orange flavor of the juice bombs, this one is all pineapple. The added sugar is not as bad as I feared; it's not a sweet as a typical DIPA, for instance.

Seriously cloudy brew with a decent pile of foam in the tulip. Not as gunky as many of the hazy brews. Modest bitterness, but it's more like an aspirin taste than hops. From the 16 oz can purchased at Barons Market on West Point Loma.

16oz canned 1/10/20. Opened 2/8/20.
1" white head, good retention - falls slowly and hangs in as a solid cap with the beginnings of fresh and sticky lacing left behind.
Huge nose jumps out of the glass full of fresh squeezed oranges and ripe cut pineapple.
Zesty citrus, berries in cream, some pithy grapefruit rind bitterness and zingy pineapple flavors. Lots going on here, fresh and tasty. I feel like the beer is made so well that I can taste all 3 hops and what they bring to the table...
Citra, orange? Check.
Mosaic, berry? Check.
Galaxy, pineapple? Check.
Very well done.
Full body, soft round mouthfeel, low perceived carbonation. Medium length between dry and off-dry (more towards dry) finish full of ripe fruit flavors.
Very good. At 6.5% a potential session...at least a couple...

Dang if this isn't one of those lactose ipas that I actually like. Comes in a slightly bright hazy yellow 1/3" white head. Good pop from the Mosaic and Citra hops, its not there just in name, they are substantial. The Galaxy to a lesser degree, I tend to get a lot of pineapple out of Galaxy normally but it wasn't really here beyond looking for it and finding it if one wanted to a smaller extent.

The taste did have a touch of sweetness to it, but I gotta say it is probably the best lactose use in an ipa/hoppy beer I've ever had. Its minimal and helps to smooth the already low ibu count out and helped by that hazy likely flaked oat like body. Lacks the hop burn that some of their (moreso dipas) beers can have. Given the flaked lactose like notes and mega hops, this is almost like a relatively low sugar kid cereal with a bunch of hops to it in terms of taste and mouthfeel.

Good beer, relatively distinct from their other 40 hoppy beers, only down side is the price, usually between $4-5 a can, which I guess is actually getting pretty close to an industry standard for the non big boys of craft beer.

Canned on 7/13, consumed on 8/6 - poured from a tall-boy into my Bruery tulip.

Turbid marigold body with a finger of magnolia soft peaks. Even sandy lacing; good retention.

Candied ginger, marijuana, blueberries, gooseberries, passion fruit, tropical wood, and a hint of citrus in the nose. Pungent, hop-forward, sweet, and inviting.

Floral, fruity, and milky on the palate. Low bitterness, faint acidity to balance the sugars, malt subsumed by hops and lactose. Finishes medium-dry, faintly spicy/herbal with a touch of berries and kiwi. Pretty good, but doesn't live up to the aroma. Has a candy/juicy element while still retaining its identify as an ale.

Creamy yet light, not-quite-chalky, with a well concealed ABV.

Another aroma-factory from Revision - the flavor is a bit pedestrian in comparison, but the lactose isn't overdone.
