A- A medium hazy pour, nice golden orange color. Head of about an ich of small bubbles, on my sample retention was so so, medium lacing.
S- Very pleasant citrus notes, pine for sure, hoppy on the greenery side. Mild malt sweetness. Hint of something else that makes it more interesting, almost a slight funk but not strong and not bad. Quite nice.
M- Pretty smooth, medium body, slightly less carbonation than i would have thought. Goes down easily. Leaves some slight oily hops aftertaste, not dry.
T- Very nice! First thing, for 8% alc this brew is deceptively quaffable! Lots of delicious citrus like grapefruit tangerine, touch of melon, but not really strong grapefruit, this thing is Juicccy baby! Lucious. Some piney oilyness. The malt sweetness is in near perfect balance with the hop bitterness. Superb balance on this one which makes it super drinkable.
O- So glad I tried this. The style of beer and its beautiful label are what drew my attention. A pleasant discovery! On first tasting I said out loud damn this mofo is Juicy baby, damn good! Excellent balance, interesting nose, will buy again!

16 oz can from Homebrewstuff. Orange golden body with a spotty head. Aroma is hoppy, dank, fruity, hemp. Taste presents a sly bitterness floating on top of a thick citrus, tropical juicy body. A smorgasbord of flavors.

Consumed January 2020. I think this is an ode to that old Shark Shark game on Intellivision?
Pours a familiar dark golden color, not ample clarity, but not usual hazy ipa game obscurity either. 1/4" white head. Retention is meh. Aroma goes Citra hop and something else like Vic Secret I guess. Orange, pine, grapefruit rind, even a hint of lactose on this one.
Taste is indeed one of the sweeter tasting ipas made by Revision. As usual, the mouth feel is such that 8% abv isn't perceived. Can make for a dangerously easy, crushable dipa. Notes of orange and grapefruit persist, but its not just that rind, it actually is the sweeter variety of grapefruit going here, which is relatively rare compared to the pithy rind like grapefruit notes in most beers. Definitely not a dry finish in the mouthfeel, but its all good. Has enough bitterness to keep the mouth feel from being problematic trub mouth feel. I dig the sticker design. Fire up the Intellivision.

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England Double / Imperial IPA
Glass: Pure Project 14-oz. Teku glass
Price: $4.79
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: April 30, 2020
Consumed: May 11, 2020
Misc.: Canned on April 15, 2020 at 6:29 a.m. PT
Grabbed a can of this with a ton of others on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Revision has some of the best hazy IPAs around and I could certainly seeing this one being a minimum of 4.00. Revision’s website calls it a, “A special dose of specialty malt adds schweet, schweet flavah while a combination of old and new school hops provide orange marmalade, grapefruit and forest aromas and character.” No mention of hops, which is unusual for Revision.
Poured a golden hazy color with three fingers of frothy white head. Lots of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass at a fairly quick pace. Perfect spiderweb lacing. Almost perfect retention. (Sight - 5.00)
Smelled bit citrus. In order got orange blossom, floral, mandarin orange, peach, stone fruit, tangerine, grapefruit, pine and melon. A little better out of the can. Not sure of the hops, but if I had to guess on the smell alone I’d lean toward Mandarina Bavaria, Amarillo and Idaho 7. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted about as good as the nose. In order got candied orange, orange creamsicle, orange blossom, bitter mandarin orange peel, peach, stone fruit, pine, melon, cantaloupe, red grapefruit, tangerine and floral. Would guess Mandarina, Amarillo and Idaho 7 for hops, with El Dorado and Mosaic a close fourth and fifth. Does not taste 8.00 pct. ABV. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
This beer grew on me was it went down. Another excellent offering from Revision. (Overall - 4.25)

Canned 4/14 poured into a pint glass.
A: Fairly turbid & opaque lemonade pour; no floaters, just hazy. Lots of off-white head and lacing left behind.
S: Floral, fruity, and juicy with a prominent citrus note, orange and grapefruit, spruce needle, a hint of a fresh green herbaceous note, crackery malt base.
T: It follows the nose perfectly in smooth, floral, and juicy tones. Crackery malt carries forward a snap of grapefruit and a smooth orange juice character. Familiar palate for Revision, the hop notes weave through the a slightly bready malt base with minimal bitterness and leaves little residual dryness.
MF: Creamy, smooth, fruity, juicy - medium feel/medium carbonation.
O: A really good offering from Revision, familiar but quite enjoyable.

i have pretty much committed to buying some amount of revision beer each week during this quarantine, and find myself dreaming about it and looking forward to it, this week i ended up with this one, and im stoked on it. feeling thankful to have them in the market here in boise, they make a ton of beer and almost all of it slays, like an other half of the west or something, but each beer has so much identity of its own. this was canned just three days ago! how unreal. huge thanks to revision for keeping it fresh like this. the freshness may make it, but i would put this up there with the best i have had from them. this looks like so many other hazy ones, generic now from the can, but with a very active and lasting white head, lots of life from the can. it smells good but tastes incredible, pink bubblegum, passion fruit, fresh pineapple, mandarin, and cantaloupe, all from the hops, subtle pine through it too, and its so pungent i have to wonder if there are some cryo hops in here, like they start early and stay late and never have any greenness or vegetal properties at all, so rare and so good! faint coconut, smarties candy, and lemongrass as it warms too, quite dynamic, pungent and different, wholly distinctive, even in their impressive lineup it stands out. the quality here is enormous, dry and with lots of bubbles and no sign at all of its strength, this could crush me tonight if i had enough of them, so drinkable its freaky. really fire ipa here, world class even, the best hazy i have had this year so far maybe. revision continues to stoke me up, this is truly lights out!

Can poured into a Russian River Brewing Co pub glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and leaves some thick lacing.
S: Plenty of citrus, resinous pine, growing tropical and stone fruit, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Big citrus, grapefruit, lemon, and orange, a little pine, fruity notes emerge as it warms, pineapple, mango, apricot, and a hint of melon, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Just a touch on the fuller side of medium, somewhat lively carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: This one definitely stands out from all the Citra bombs out there. Really nice change of pace NE-style.

Canned 8/12/19. Revision has been a hit or miss with me lately, with recent re-releases of past offerings not aligning with my former memory of them. Anyways, I am excited to try something new from Revision.
L: Pours a hazy straw yellow in color, focusing more on the color of grain and wheat rather than the bright yellow we are seeing in hazies nowadays. About 2 fingers of head that retained well. An the lacing, glorious! Heaps of white soapy lacing coats my tulip.
S: Melon, citrus and grain with hints of black pepper and honey. Slight floral aroma as well.
T: I really enjoy the flavor of this beer. PIthy citrus initially with pineapple, stawberry and mango flavors at the finish. Lingering notes of honey, honeysuckle, and lemongrass to follow with a very pleasant aftertaste. The more I drink it, the more i like it. Semi-sweet with a right touch of hop character.
F: Medium in body and in weight. Smooth and full with moderate carbonation. Booze hidden well.
O: This is one of the better recent Revision releases, and the flavor reminds me of the haze I used to really enjoy from Revision. The classic Revision character is apparent, and I'm liking it. I am very glad to try, and I wouldn't mind drinking it again.

30 day old can into an imperial pint glass. Another good but not great hazy DIPA. While the aroma and taste are both nice, nothing pops. Would drink again, but won't be seeking it out.

Poured from a can -murky orange/gold with a frothy white head leaving some frosty lacing and a ring of tiny bubbles. Nose is citrusy with some pine and sweet malt in the background. Taste follows mostly with more citrus fruit and an almost tart finish. Another typically well done NEIPA with very cool can art from Revision.
