We were lucky to get our hop rubbing' hands on some Strata, and the aroma blew us away. Bright, fruity, a hint of dank and all out delicious. It's the cat's meow!

Poured into a weizen glass at fridge temp, no readable canning date
Look at that juice! Pours brilliant pineapple yellow with some thick haze. Small white head that settled into a thin ring and thinner cap. 4
Bright mango is the first thing out of the can and pour, along with some dank hops and some lighter tropicals on the tail end. 4
Taste follows, but heavier on the dank and juicy hops. 3.75
Light and slightly acidic body, but smoothed out as it warmed up. 3.75
Overall a really good hazy for not knowing the age, but tasting pretty fresh with a wonderful aroma. 4

Can pour- milky yellow juice with foamy white head leaving frosty lacing. Nose is citrus/tropical fruit with hints of earthy pine. Taste follows with some malt and is earthier than the nose. Finish is slightly citric that lingers.

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England IPA
Glass: Clear 16-oz. Bruges beer glass
Price: $4.49
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: Feb. 26, 2021
Consumed: Feb. 27, 2021
Misc.: Canned on Jan. 2, 2021 at 3:51 p.m. PT
Got this and a handful of other beers on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Had this on my wish list before after seeing some friends with some high praise. Their website called it “We were lucky to get our hop rubbin’ hands on some Strata, and the aroma blew us away. Bright, fruity, a hint of dank and all-out delicious. It’s the cat’s meow.”
Poured a golden hazy color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see just a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Very good spotty lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled pineapple, orange, tangerine, Strata, grapefruit, dank pine, grass and hints of caramel malt. A tad better out of the can. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted a little better than the can. Kind of thought about it in the nose but might be a tad past its prime at 56 days. Followed the nose for the most part, getting Strata, pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit, dank weed, pine, light coconut, guava, melon and wet grass. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, dry finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Not quite up to par compared to most of the other Revision beers I’ve had, but still outstanding. (Overall - 4.00)

Can poured into a Revision Brewing Co beer glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Juicy tropical and stone fruit, citrus, a bit grassy, faint herbal notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Tropical fruit and citrus, orange, grapefruit, passion fruit, apricot, mango, guava, and a little under ripe strawberry, slightly grassy and herbal, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Sneaky good Strata showcase. I liked this one more and more as I drained my glass.

another hazy from these guys, another strata beer overall, this hop has taken over the scene all of a sudden, its insane how popular it seems to be now, and its delicious in here, although almost more super mosaic properties than anything unique to itself, like drippy pineapple chunks, a little melon and coconut flesh, gentle edges despite aromatic intensity, certainly not monotone, but also not unique or new to me this time, maybe because i am already fatiguing of strata slightly, or maybe because this is just a curious expression of it, but its nice beer, lighter than a lot of the revision hazy ones are, dry and very fizzy without much starchiness to the body despite a pale almost creamy looking straw color and cloudiness. it also doesnt linger like a lot of them do, still massively dry hopped to me, but without the staying intensity on the tongue. other nuance here includes meyer lemon, sweet orange, and kiwi fruit too, but its pineapple first for me, which i dont always get from strata on its own. super soft mouthfeel, and well refined. another excellent beer from these guys, expensive four packs no doubt, but almost always worth the price. no regrets for me, this is delicious!

16oz canned very recently, but without a canning date. Poured into a nonic.
A: Full on full haze, murky and bright simultaneously; small white head.
S&MF: Big sweet, sticky cannabis, fresh and full and vibrant. This is what I picture Pineapple Express smelling like. Incredibly fruity and juicy. Maybe the most vibrant nose and flavors I’ve ever experienced. Strawberry. Smooth. Floral. Sweet Orange tangerine. Peach. Guava. Pink sweet sweet grapefruit. Wow. Coconut? Tropical fruit galore.
MF: Smooth, juice-like body, crushable at 7%. Minimal bitterness.
O: I loved this one even though that huge sticky sweet/sour ("dank", I'm assuming?) character is almost off-putting, but there is so much juicy, fruity character that it may be the most citrus and tropical fruit-forward brew I've ever tried as well.

16 oz can from Brewers Haven. Hazy pour with a small foamy head. Light citrusy aroma. Taste also comes in light, fruity citrus. Tame for a Revision brew.

Dirty straw color, pours hazy but not cloudy/murky, small head that left a good amount of spotty lacing. Strata aroma is a nice danky/fruity mix but rather light in intensity. Taste is more grassy & herbal/vegetal than aroma suggested. Feel is med/light, smooth with low bitterness but not creamy and lacking body. Overall, an ok hazy on the lower end of Revision's lineup.
