Sounded like another awesome beer from Revision. Description on their website read, “Brightly lit by Mosaic® and Mandarina Bavaria hops dropping notes of berries, tangerine and mango, this brew lays down a foundation of malt, wheat and oats soft and pillowy enough to pad your den.” That’s a great hop combo. I think I’m going to like this one.

Poured a golden hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Could see some bubbles creeping up along the sides of the glass. Outstanding spotty lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.25)

Smelled orange juice, tangerine, mandarin orange, Mandarina Bavaria, grass, guava, pineapple, mango, papaya and cantaloupe. From the can got Mandarina Bavaria, Mosaic and tropical notes. (Smell - 4.00)

Tasted similar to the nose. In order got Mandarina Bavaria, tangerine, mandarin orange, orange juice, guava, mango, papaya, cantaloupe, apricot, Mosaic, floral and caramel candy squares. (Taste - 4.00)

Medium body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Dry finish. (Feel - 4.00)

Another outstanding offering from Revision. (Overall - 4.00)

No canned date, assumed relatively fresh (within 3 months)

Appearance - Pours hazy and a light orange in color with an off-white, finger width head. Fair retention, but dies to a mostly barren surface with a razor thin ring of suds. A few tiny spots make up the lacing.

Smell - A juicy aroma of orange, pineapple and guava, with a hint of mango.

Taste - Spunky orange and pineapple upfront, before underlying guava, mango and slight floral character kick in. A really nice, even-keeled flow of flavor, from the initial bite to the more mellow start to finish.

Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick, smooth and easy drinking from start to finish.

Overall - A lot of earlier Revision hazies would give a bit of burn if pouring into the glass, absolutely everything from the can; tasty as hell, but also have a noticeable yeasty burn aftertaste. This one has none of that, in fact it goes down smooth as glass. Certainly a step in the right direction for a brewery who has made fire, both positively and not such.

16oz canned 3/18/20. Opened 4/18/20.
1" white head with a perfectly straight edge collar sits above a glowing orange and perfectly opaque IPA. Very good retention and leaves behind a thick, fresh lacing.
Clean citrus aromas, orange peel and berries with cream, mango - touch of pine and a creamy / creamsicle malt base lean.
Big berry flavor up front followed by a peel/rind flavor and the fresh oils of citrus skin. Very juicy. Very, very juicy.
Full body, smooth and soft mouthfeel. Nice punch of bitterness mid-palate that hangs for awhile. Long tropical and citrus flavors in the finish.
7th beer I've had from Revision, all fantastic.

16oz can brewed 3/27 poured into a Sam Smith nonic.

A: Hazy orange juice pour, maybe more of a golden straw color? Soft and inviting...lots of pillowy white head and lacing on the glass.

S: Lots of orange character upfront on the nose, not sure I've had Mandarina hops before before with a name like 'mandarin' I'm thinking thats what's dominating this aroma, and I like it! Hints of a lime/spritzer character, mango and papaya, hints of spice/earth and grain.

T: Big citrus fruit character here as well, with underlying crisp grainy malt. Orange, mango, papaya, stone fruit, banana/tropical smoothie. Clean finish with no alcohol and lower bitterness (as expected).

MF: Clean and crisp medium/light body, soft with appropriate carbonation for the style.

O: I didn't check the abv and assumed 8-ish % like the other Revision NEIPA's I've tried - this definitely felt light and crushable and held its own while maintaining its own character with a unique hop profile. I like it, and I like Revision.

This one took me a few tries to really get a handle on where I wanted to drop the scores for a review. Usually on a 4 pack, by the time I've had it twice, I'm ready to go, but this one gave me a pause and we went 3 cans in before reducing the review to writing.

Usual hazy ipa appearance, only slight difference is these newest beers from Revision are even lighter yellow than their average ones. Hazy, yellow 1/2" white head. Great artwork. Aroma was definitely leaning on the Mandarina hops, just straight orange up in ya nose. Mosaic hops were second fiddle, but complimentary.

Taste was much the same way. While good tasting Mandarina hops, they were a little too one dimensional. Mosaic didn't really punch through in the taste. Bittering was a little less than average, commercial tug job touts a 40ibu level which comes close to the 50ibu taste and mouth feel threshold here. Body is nice and slick, easy to drink 7%. I imagine there is flaked something or other without the frequent hop burn. Well done, butt I think I like Invitation to Party slightly more of the new ones.

a unique combination of hops in this hazy one, mosaic and mandarina bavaria, and the beat goes on for revision, who literally makes a thousand different ipa types that all seem to have their own personality. this was really enjoyable, hazy and dense, but a little more drinkable than some of the more substantial ones i have had from them recently. awesome art on the can, a soft orange color to it, a high and lasting white head with web lacing as it drinks. aroma and flavor of fresh mango and tangerine, a little cat pee thing from the mosaic in the nose but bright and juicy in the flavor, subtle pineapple and sweeter lemon, some wheat and starchiness to the grain base, fuller bodied and round, but dry and smooth and easy to drink. mango juice is dominant from the hops here, some orange, and a little bit of bite and spiciness even, which seems odd for these varietals, yet here it is. its fresh and good, somewhat interesting even as these go, and another one from these guys with its own personality. great carbonation, palate coating resinous hops, and bright fruity essences that make this distinctive. great start to the afternoon. as long as these guys keep making them, ill keep buying them!

16 oz can from Boise Co-OP. Ora ge golden pour, airy head, becomes still. Light fruity aroma, touch of citrus peel. Taste brings more to the table, hoppy notes, grassy, grapefruit, lemon. Pretyy gentle overall, not the usual jioce bomb from Revision. Leaves a tingle on the palate.

Poured from a can - murky dirty yellow with short white head leaving a ring of tiny bubbles and scant lacing. Nose is mostly tropical fruit. Taste follows leaning toward citrusy goodness with a hint of resiny pine. Another competent NE style IPA from Revision.

Can poured into a Revision Brewing Co beer glass

A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy eggshell white head that settles to a firm layer and leaves some thick lacing.

S: Zesty citrus, grassy, a bit spicy, tropical fruit, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.

T: Zesty citrus, tangerine, lemon, lime, and grapefruit, tropical fruit, papaya, apricot, peach, and a touch of mango and passion fruit, resinous pine, spicy grassy notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.

M: Medium body, soft on the palate, but with a little prickly carbonation, and a hint of warmth.

O: Love the artwork. The beer, not as much. It's a bit rough around the edges.
