Aged in American whiskey barrels, this Imperial stout is smooth, slightly sweet with a hint of spice, subtle coffee, oak, vanilla and a kiss of honey.then we took all that goodness and conditioned it on cacao nibs to really bring out the chocolate character.

Bottle pour- black as used motor oil with foamy khaki head leaving mostly a ring of bubbles. Nose is roasty and sweet with a hint of barrel wood. Taste follows with hints of chocolate and coffee. Hints of boozy barrel wood on the finish. Pretty mellow for the abv.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high dark beige head.
S: Light to moderate aromas of whiskey are present int the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of whiskey but also has notes of chocolate along with hints of coffee and vanilla.
M: It feels full-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a pleasant barrel aged stout to sip. While the alcohol is noticeable, it isn't overly dominant.
