Driftin’, groovin’, spinnin’ and floatin’ on clouds of Mecca Grade malts, this bird sings. Mosaic, Galaxy and Samba hops provide tasty and aromatic notes reminiscent of both ripe and green mango, sweet tangerine, pineapple and a touch of the green good stuff (hops of course). With malted barley and malted white wheat farmed and kilned by Mecca Grade Estate Malt in Oregon, this is a beer that soars.

Thanks, Chad!
Was lucky enough to have this and four others sent to me by Chad. Revision has some of the best haze to offer so I was looking forward to having this one. Back of the can read “Driftin’, groovin’, spinnin’ and floatin’ on clouds of Mecca Grade malts, this bird sings. Mosaic®, Galaxy® and Samba hops provide tasty and aromatic notes reminiscent of both ripe and green mango, sweet tangerine, pineapple and a touch of the green good stuff (hops of course). With malted barley and malted white wheat farmed and kilned by Mecca Grade Estate Malt in Oregon, this is a beer that soars.” Vaguely remember trying Samba but looking at the hop profile it calls for juicy tropical fruits (pineapple, mango), stone fruits, candy, and orange tangerine.
Poured a light golden hazy color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see just a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Good watery lacing. Decent retention. (Sight - 3.50)
Smelled big pineapple, mango, tangerine, passion fruit, papaya, melon and orange Jolly Rancher candy. For mentioned hops, I think I got more Samba than the other two with Galaxy right behind and Mosaic in the rear. Better straight from the can with the addition of peach. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted slightly better than the nose. More tangerine than the nose, followed by pineapple, passion fruit, peach, orange Jolly Rancher candy, mango, guava, papaya, hints of weed, herbal, menthol, grapefruit and light tropical pulp. For the mentioned hops, more Samba and Galaxy, followed by Mosaic. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, citrusy finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Another outstanding effort from Revision. (Overall - 4.00)

16oz can from Craft Brewers. Normal, hazy pour, small ring of head. Musty, citrusy aroma with some tropical notes. Juicy taste, citrus, tanginess, overripe fruit.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little spotty lacing.
S: Ripe tropical and stone fruit, citrus, a little pine, grassy herbal notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Tropical and stone fruit, pineapple leads, followed with apricot, peach, mango, and passion fruit, zesty citrus, tangerine, lemon, lime, and a hint of grapefruit, spicy pine, slightly dank grassy herbal notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate yet slightly prickly carbonation.
O: A little more aggressive bitterness than the name would suggest, but it keeps all the fruity goodness from getting too sweet. Another solid one from Revision.

First Revision NEIPA. Samba added quite a nice touch of unfamiliar but refreshing tropical elements. May be the slightest hit of Diacetyl, though.

16oz canned Christmas Eve and poured into an IPA nonic; beautiful fully-hazed bright gold with a soapy white head that leaves some lace; inviting, strong aroma of tropical fruit aromas with citrus as well...tangerine, lots of mango, mild peach, cantaloupe and green honeydew...lots of ripe melon character; balanced sweetness and a very light malt profile pushing through, this is mostly hops. Bitterness is very low, mouthfeel is fluffy enough at 6.5% abv. Overall a delicious NEIPA with some strong hop character.
