Here is one of the more rare beers from Revision. Single can one off to welcome Yelp Elite nerds and celebrate a Reno restaurant. I had it at a Nevada Wolfpack baseball game. Might have even been a rice lager. Anyways, it was a light boi.
Pours straw yellow, lots of clarity, feint malt impression makes me wonder since this is to pair with Asian food, if it might be a rice lager. Its light in that way. Aroma is virtually absent but for a light grain impression.
Taste is similar to say a Sapporo or Kirin. Very light hopping, very light malt bill, might be something lighter than barley making up a percentage here to give it the levity. Its the type of beer you have to not interfere with the dining experience. Light, well carbonated, minimalistic beer ingredients to pair with some spicy food has me thinking of the beer's origins and concepts in development. Of course its also a beer nice enough to share with someone who likes normal beer too.
