Pours golden hazy with a HUGE frothy crowned head from 16oz tall can. Notes of juicy citrus orange and zest, grapefruit, passion fruit, and pineapple. Really great dry hopped galaxy with juicy citra hops make this a top notch (and underrated) semi-local San Diego brew at 7.5% ABV. Cool retro can design with color kaleidoscope sunglasses woman in purple. Got this as a well received gift. Cheers!

Wild Barrel was one of the few breweries in San Diego County that I wanted to get out to, but it just hasn’t happened yet. First time seeing their beer in singles and jumped at this one over two others. Can called for a hazy IPA dry-hopped with Galaxy and Citra. Not the biggest Galaxy fan, but have been surprised when it works with others. Was really looking forward to it.
Poured a medium yellow hazy color with four fingers of rocky white head. Lots of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass at different speeds, kind of reminding me of a snow globe. Almost perfect foamy spiderweb lacing. Perfect retention. (Sight - 5.00)
Smelled a nice mix Citra and Galaxy right away. Also orange, tangerine, pineapple, tropical passion fruit, grapefruit, stone fruit, peach and citrus zest. Surprisingly not as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted about as good as the nose, maybe just a tad behind. Got Citra, tangerine, passion fruit, pineapple, grapefruit, peach, citrus zest, trashy Galaxy, stone fruit, citrus rind and hints of unknown spice on my lips. Grew on me each sip. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Juicy, citrusy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
This was an outstanding beer overall. I liked it more as it went down. (Overall - 4.00)
